I was called to the Bar in 1993 and practised in the field of criminal defence.

After several years at the criminal Bar, I transitioned to teaching on the Bar course at a leading law school in London.

I became an accredited advocacy trainer, Associate Professor of Law, Head of the Advocacy Course, Course Director of the Bar Course, and course designer.
